Why has my content been removed?

If your profile content has been moderated following an illegal content report, your content will be removed. We also recommend reviewing Aveola's terms of service and Aveola Community Guidelines to understand the terms that govern your use of our services.

You may appeal the moderation decision within 6 months from the content removing.

Why I am blocked?

We block accounts to keep Aveola safe for everyone. A block is permanent (account removal). Some blocks are triggered automatically by our safety systems; others are placed by human moderators after review.

Below you’ll find the most common reasons, what you can do next, and how to appeal if you believe this was a mistake.

Common reasons for blocks

  • Harassment or bullying — threats, targeted insults, coordinated abuse.
  • Hate speech or discrimination — attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.
  • Sexual content & exploitation — nudity, sexual content, requests for sexual images, or any content involving minors (zero-tolerance).
  • Grooming or predatory behavior — attempting to gain trust for exploitation, inappropriate contact across age groups.
  • Harmful or illegal content — violence, drugs, criminal activity, or advocacy of self-harm/suicide.
  • Impersonation & scams — fake profiles, phishing, fraud, or asking for money/PII.
  • Age or identity issues — failing or refusing required age verification, using another person’s identity.
  • Spam or platform abuse — mass messaging, automation, evading prior enforcement, selling accounts.
  • Security concerns — signs of a hacked account or unsafe device behavior.
  • Payments & chargebacks (if applicable) — fraud or repeated chargebacks.

Note: We do not reinstate accounts involved in child sexual exploitation, severe violence, or other zero-tolerance violations.

What you can do next

  • Check the notice in the app or email
We usually state the category and whether the block is temporary
  • Review our policies
Read the Community Guidelines and Terms of Use to understand what triggered enforcement.
  • If you think we made a mistake (appeal)
    See “How to appeal” below

How to appeal?

If you disagree with this decision, contact us and we’ll review the case.

  • Email: support@aveola.app
  • In your message, include (if possible) a brief explanation of why you believe this is an error

We’ll take a fresh look and respond after review. Submitting multiple appeals will not speed up the process.
